Parker McCay introduced the James keating as legal counsel in the construction and supply department at Mount Laurel. He has twenty years of experience in municipal, commercial and industrial construction, the firm said. Previously, he headed the claims departments of insurance companies. In these roles, he was responsible for managing trade agreements, business associate agreements, confidentiality agreements and other contracts. He also interpreted contractual requirements, obligations and risk exposure. Prior to that, he was a construction litigation lawyer in Philadelphia. He obtained his law degree from Widener University School of Law in 2002 and his BS from Saint Joseph University in 1999.

World Insurance Associates Hires Briggs as Deputy General Counsel

Insurance Associates of the World, a growing insurance brokerage firm based in Tinton Falls, has hired Kimberly briggs as Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. She will oversee all of the firm’s legal and compliance functions. Briggs previously held senior general counsel positions at Pebble Beach Resorts, Pebble Beach, Calif., USI Insurance Services, Citi Bank, and Near North Insurance Brokerage. She received her JD from Loyola University Law School.
