Ex-Boies Schiller’s legal assistant withdraws appeal from the table


Law360 (July 20, 2021, 4:07 p.m. EDT) – A former legal assistant to Boies Schiller Flexner LLP said on Tuesday she would not appeal after her lawsuit alleging she was fired because of her age and disability was reduced last month when a Florida federal judge ruled that she had failed to prove her claim to disability bias and had made procedural errors.

Linda Campbell did not explain in her court notice why she is now voluntarily withdrawing her appeal from the judge’s decision, but she first told the court last month that she planned to appeal to the Court of Appeal of the United States for the Eleventh Circuit.
